Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. In order to provide the best care to all clients, I ask that you notify me in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Cancellations or Rescheduling:

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows me the opportunity to offer that time to another client.

Late Cancellations:

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be refunded.

No-Show Appointments:

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment and have not provided prior notice, may not be refunded.

Late Arrivals:

I understand that life (and traffic) happens. However, it is important to arrive with a little time to settle in and our time together will still end at the scheduled time regardless of arrival time.

Emergencies or Illness:

I understand that unexpected situations arise. Fees may be waived in the case of illness, emergencies, or severe weather at the discretion of the provider.

By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy.

Thank you for respecting this policy and helping me provide care to all clients.

FAQ

Is This Confidential?

Yes, everything shared in a session is held in confidence.

I see clients Tuesday through Saturday.  My hours are different each day.  I do offer some early morning and some evening hours.

I have numerous places for us to sit outside in good weather: a pasture, near a pond, in the woods, under a big oak tree or in my home.  We do have cats and dogs so if you are allergic to either this is probably not a fit for you.

Cash, check and Venmo.

I work within the Christian tradition, so our conversations will reference scripture, prayer, and Christian spiritual practices. If you’re exploring faith, you’re welcome. If you’re not interested in Christian spirituality, this probably isn’t the right fit.

You don’t need to be spiritual in any particular way. You just need to be honest. Some of the most profound spiritual direction happens with people who feel disconnected from God or unsure about their faith. That’s exactly where we can begin.
