Gentle and Challenging, Easy and Emotional

Meeting with Kara is at the same time gentle and challenging, easy and emotional. She has a soothing, warm presence and a way of bringing me to the heart of a question. Often, she has a knack for asking questions no one has asked me before—questions I realize I should have answered long ago. Other times, her questions remind me of the long journey I’ve already been on with Christ in an area. It is amazing how often I can circle an issue for weeks, and one question can bring me out of the loop to see things in a new light.
